What exactly do I receive when I buy a sequence?
A downloadable xLights sequence file (.xsq). Nothing physical is shipped, and no audio is included.

Is the music included?
No, never. We sell our original programming only. You supply your own legally obtained copy of the song, and the product page names the exact recording the sequence was timed to.
What software do I need?
xLights only. These are xLights sequence files, and they do not work in other sequencing software. xLights is free from xlights.org.
Will a sequence work on my layout?
Yes, with mapping. Sequences are imported and mapped from our models and groups onto yours; that step is normal for every vendor's sequences. Our group structure is organized to make mapping straightforward, and each product page lists what the sequence uses so you can check the fit before buying.
Do your sequences include singing faces?
No. Our sequences do not include singing face tracks.
How and when do I get my files?
Your download link appears on the confirmation screen and is emailed to you once payment clears, usually within a few minutes. See our Shipping Policy for details.
What is your refund policy?
All sales are final. There are no refunds once purchased, and sequences are sold as-is. Please watch the preview video and read the product details before buying. If your file is defective and will not download or open, contact us and we will replace the file. Import help is always free, so contact us first if something will not work.
Can I use a sequence in a commercial or paid display?
No. Your license covers your own residential display only, and files may not be shared, uploaded, or resold. See the Terms of Service for the full license.

Do the DMX moving heads work with my fixtures?
They work after mapping. Our sequences were programmed for 6 DMX moving heads on our layout (MH1 fixtures, 16 channels each). Every moving head uses a different channel layout, so you will need to map our 6 heads to your own fixtures and adjust the channels to match your fixtures. They will not match every moving head out of the box.
Will my show look exactly like the preview video?
No. The preview video shows the sequence on our layout with our fixtures. Your result depends on your layout, your models, and your fixtures, and mapping is always required.
How do I check if a sequence fits my display?
Each product page lists the props a sequence uses. Compare that list with your layout. For the full guide, see Will It Run on My Display, including what to map first and what happens if you do not have a prop.
Can I download my file again later?
Yes. Re-downloads are included, and your download link allows unlimited downloads, so you can fetch the file again if you lose it.
What support is included?
Import and mapping help is free by email. If your file is defective and will not download or open, we replace the file. Support is by email only, through the address on our Contact Information page.
Do I get updated files?
Yes. If we update a sequence you bought, you can re-download the latest version from your original download link at no extra cost.
What is the sequence license?
One residential display location, no sharing or reselling, no commercial use. Commercial licenses are available on request. See the full Sequence License.
