Overview

Sayed's Sequences ("we", "us", "our") operates this online store. By visiting this store or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not use the store or purchase our products. We may update these terms at any time; the version posted here at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.

Our products are digital downloads

We sell downloadable xLights sequence files (for example, .xsq files) for use with the xLights lighting sequencing software. Nothing physical is shipped. Every product is delivered electronically under our Shipping Policy, and our Refund Policy explains when refunds are available for digital goods.

Music and audio are never included

Our products do not include music, audio tracks, or any other copyrighted recording. Song titles and artist names are used only to identify the recording a sequence was timed to. You are responsible for obtaining your own legal copy of the audio for any sequence you buy. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any artist, songwriter, or record label.

License — what you may and may not do

Your purchase grants you one personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the sequence in your own residential holiday display. Under this license you may NOT:

Share, upload, post, sell, resell, rent, give away, or otherwise redistribute the sequence file, in whole or in part, in original or modified form;
Use the sequence in a commercial display, a paid or ticketed show, or a display operated for business promotion;
Claim the programming as your own work, or remove or alter any credit included with the file.

Modifying a sequence for your own layout and display is expected and allowed. The license covers the buyer only and does not transfer if you sell or give away your display equipment.

Compatibility and mapping

Sequences are programmed on a reference layout and must be mapped to your own models and groups during import into xLights. Mapping is the buyer's responsibility. Each product page lists what a sequence uses (for example: mega tree, matrices, singing faces, moving heads) and any version or definition requirements, so you can check the fit before buying. A sequence will not look identical on every layout, and we do not guarantee identical results on yours.

Prices and payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars. We may change prices or discontinue a product at any time without notice. If an order is affected by an obvious pricing or listing error, we may cancel it and refund the payment in full.

Accounts and orders

You are responsible for providing a current, valid email address at checkout; your download delivery depends on it. We may refuse or cancel an order if we reasonably believe it is fraudulent or violates these terms, with a refund of any amount paid for undelivered products.

Third-party software and links

xLights is third-party software that we do not develop, sell, or control. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or policies.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Our products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including display equipment issues arising from your own hardware, controllers, or show configuration.
